The week before Thanksgiving break, graduate assistants Ethan Freese and Grant Reiner spoke at a graduate-level class in the University of Nebraska—Lincoln’s School of Natural Resources. The class, NRES-801: Topics in Applied Ecology, was taught by Jamilynn Poletto, an assistant professor in the school. Ethan and Grant talked with other graduate students about conservation photography and how to use multimedia as a way to communicate science.

Platte Basin Timelapse was featured in the new exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens titled, “Welcome Home: Meet Your Habitat.” The video Mariah edited titled, “Watershed,” was displayed as the introductory video for the exhibit. This exhibition opened on November 16, 2019, and will be up for the next two years.

The event was free and open to the public.
