Managed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Grassland Studies, Nine-Mile Prairie is one of the last remnants of the once expansive tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Throughout eastern Nebraska, a dedicated group of people are working to conserve and restore prairies like Nine-Mile Prairie.⁠ ⁠ This video was produced by Ethan Freese of Platte Basin Timelapse and the Center for Grassland Studies as part of a series of videos about Nebraska’s Grasslands. ⁠
