This State Recreation Area is comprised of 192 acres of land in the small town of Louisville, NE. Nestled along the Platte River, Louisville State Recreation Area offers a variety of activities to its many visitors. From fishing to camping to swimming at the beach or trying out the floating playground, it is so easy to spend a whole day here!

About Arnold Heights Park

Arnold Heights Park has a trail to follow to a serene view of Lincoln atop the infamous “Tanker Hill,” which is perfect for sledding. It also has benches available for picnicking. Enjoy the scenery on a hot summer day under the shade of the trees, or come back during the winter to have some sledding fun. Arnold Heights Park is owned by the City of Lincoln
