Eby Lake

LOOKING Closer

Located on a private ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills, this camera will watch the ebb and flow of the lake after a large-scale carp removal project that went underway in early September 2021. Carp are an invasive species in Sandhills lakes and wetlands, and can severely degrade the fishery habitat and water quality over time. Private landowners, alongside public agencies, are working together to fight the spread of carp throughout the Sandhills.
