Glacier Creek Stream

This camera is located next to a stream and prairie restoration at the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Glacier Creek Preserve. During the restoration, completed by the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District, meanders were added to the stream channel, and several swales were excavated nearby to provide habitat for amphibians and other wildlife. The surrounding land, which was formerly cropped, was planted with a high diversity mix of native plant species.
