Olive Creek

LOOKING Closer

The Olive Creek camera is observing a hillside that was burned in an unplanned grassfire in South East Nebraska that spread from Firth nearly to the town of Kramer. This camera is observing the brief green-up before winter’s freeze and the spring/summer growing season as the land recovers and rejuvenates into grassland. Several cedar trees were torched in the burn and this location had been previously mowed. It had not been managed by fire in any recent years.
