Located 30 miles northwest of Ft. Collins and consisting of over 1,700 acres, The Nature Conservancy’s Phantom Canyon Preserve is one of northern Colorado’s last roadless canyons. Our camera overlooks the North Fork of the Cache La Poudre River, a site where TNC actively works to restore prairie and protect natural ecological zones in the canyon through processes such as grazing and fire.
