Seminoe State Park Sunshine Beach

LOOKING Closer

Sunshine Beach is a public use area on Seminoe Reservoir just upstream from the dam and power plant. The shallow bay in the foreground shows water level fluctuations throughout the year. These fluctuations are caused by decisions about how much water to store and how much to release in the 1.0 million acre-foot Bureau of Reclamation reservoir. This area is popular for boating and camping.
